Father Nicholas Gruner Father Nicholas Gruner, the founder and Director of the International Fatima Rosary Crusade, is 55 years old and was born in Montreal, Canada. He is a graduate of McGill University with post-graduate degrees in Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. Father Gruner is a Roman Catholic priest in good standing who was ordained at Our Lady of Good Counsel Shrine in Frigento, Italy in August, 1976. In 1978, with the permission of his bishop, he began his full-time commitment to Our Lady's Fatima Apostolate. Since that time, Father Gruner has been exclusively promoting, preaching and lecturing in the United States, Canada and overseas on the Fatima Message.
Long considered one of the world's
leading authorities on Fatima and traditional Roman Catholic doctrine and
practice, Father Gruner is a frequent guest on radio and television and a
sought-after speaker at conferences and public events around the world. He has
received numerous awards and is the 1996 recipient of the St. Louis de Montfort
prize. Despite an intense and busy schedule, Father Gruner still finds time to
travel extensively with the National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Canada blessed by
Pope Paul VI in 1967. In the last two decades, he has preached on the Fatima
Message in cathedrals and churches in more than 500 cities and 30 countries
